Are you interested in service opportunities?

Essentially, Rotary is about service to the community. 'The community' might be the local community. RCGW supports a number of local charities. It also has a number of programs which support local youth. 'The Community' might be international. In recent years Rotarians from RCGW has supported projects in Indonesia, Fiji and Cambodia. 'Support' has ranged from financial help to jumping on a plane and getting hands dirty: in fact very dirty!

'The community' might be the world community. RCGW is but one of 33,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide which has raised funds, sent people overseas and involved with immunisation to rid the world of polio.

Are you interested in developing your network?

The Rotary District in which RCGW is situated has some 1,400 members. They are dedicated professionals, tradespeople and upbeat individuals from every walk of life. In addition, through their various projects, Rotarians meet dozens, scores, hundreds of interesting people. If a Rotarian travels interstate, across Australia or overseas, they will be welcomed into Rotary clubs in almost every country in the world. Rotarians get to know people!

Are you interested in leadership and skills development?

Are you interested in developing your leadership skills? Team building, fundraising, public speaking, planning, organization and communication are just a sample of the leadership skills that club members can enhance. Being a Rotary leader, for instance, by spending a year as President or on District Management Teams provides further experience in learning how to motivate, inspire and guide others. This often appeals to the recently-retired who now ‘want to do what they want to do’.

Do you enjoy having fun? Every Rotary club hosts activities that offer diversions from today’s demanding professional and personal schedules.

If you have answered 'yes' to any of the above, please contact our membership secretary:-

That's him on the right!

Give us a call and we and you can move forward together.

Firstly, we would invite you to an informal meeting to explain in more detail how Rotary operates.

Then, we would invite you to club meetings to meet other members and see how we operate.

After attending a series of meetings we would discuss with you if membership is something that you would be interested in.

Then we make a formal offer of membership. Our members will tell you it is relatively painless!

Tell you what, if you think Rotary is for you,
